The official web site of the IRC channel #thepurplegroove on EFNet. Not much happens there, but I like the people.

The personal page of Choccie (Steeeve!), who's really nice, and silly. He used to hang out at #thepurplegroove a lot, but not so much anymore.

The personal page of Brook Miles, who draws pictures, programs, writes stories, etc. He made the video game Avoid the Roids, and a short 3D cartoon. He's usually at #thepurplegroove too. And he's really nice, if generally more sober than Choccie. =)

Bastet, who makes beautiful artwork, and stories to go with it. She hangs out at the CyberSix message board.

Julie's How to Draw Anime. Very Helpful.

Neopets! I'm addicted to this game right now. It's very fun and time-consuming. My pet is called LaliaDesru. (That's a picture of her on the left.) Go ahead and join, make yourself a pet, and challenge me. =)

The CyberSix Message Boards. I'm there a lot, as 1istener. It seems to be more a place for friends to gather and socialize, than it is to discuss CyberSix. They're very welcoming. And the art on the Arts and Lit board rocks.

Megatokyo! My favorite online comic. Updates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I check it religiously. It's about this unfortunate Japan-obsessed sweetie, Piro, and his weird, violent friend Largo.

Sodaplay Constructor. It's a really cool online interactive building toy. It's hard to explain, but it's fun. Make your own models.

Penny Arcade. Another online comic. It happens to update at the same time as MegaTokyo, and I happen to check it right after I check MegaTokyo. It's about these two guys who are obsessed with video games. It's funny sometimes.

Nintendo MIDIs. Some of it is really good music, expecially if you recognize it from the games.

For Better or For Worse. Classic Canadian comic strip by Lynn Johnston. It updates every day. It's still funny after all these years. The only part of the site I read is the 'strip-fix' section.

The Halfling Wizard. A page with a few articles on programming in C++. It has good advice for programmers, but if you're not one, it probably won't make a lot of sense.

JDic, the Japanese Dictionary. I'm learning Japanese, and I use this page so often, to translate and stuff, I thought I'd better link to it, as a sort of payment.
